Sai Breath Project

The Covid- 19 pandemic has caused untold distress in the past 2 years to all human beings on our planet, affecting lives and livelihoods. It has forced radical changes in almost all aspects of daily life, and in ways that we have hitherto not imagined. The less privileged amongst us, as always, have been the most adversely affected. However, in the midst of such chaos, it is indeed heart-warming to note that many individuals and societies around the world have rallied around to help and support each other as best as possible.
Members of the Sai Family across the globe, inspired by the divine lamp of love lit in their hearts by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, responded spontaneously and immediately too. Through the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations and Trusts in various countries, thousands of members participated in various Service activities offering free aid to the needy.
In the United Kingdom, under the banner of ‘Project Sai Breath’, devotees of Bhagawan Baba made voluntary donations to Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK for the purposes of extending help and support to Covid-related service programmes undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations (SSSO) in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Sai Breath - India

In April 2021, the pandemic affected people all over India severely and all available healthcare facilities were overwhelmed. Oxygen concentrators in great numbers were needed immediately. Seven 50 litre per minute mini Oxygen plants have been installed to serve the population in the remote tribal areas where such facilities are scarce. These are located in:

Love in Action

SSSSO India took up the gigantic task of responding to the great need for Covid Relief Seva, purely with the divine Grace of our Bhagawan and with the enthusiastic and selfless participation of Sai brothers and sisters across the country. We have been able to extend help to the affected people in terms of providing Oxygen Concentrators; food and groceries (Amruth Kalasham) to the people in the tribal areas and others in need; vaccinations and Covid Home Support kits in great numbers. We are now planning to extend partial support to establish diagnostic Clinics/Lab testing centres in the far flung areas, and also extend support for vaccination of children. May good health prevail on all mankind. We thank our brothers and sisters from UK, and the Trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK, for participating alongside us in this Seva opportunity in the spirit of ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’ with love and concern. With Love At His Divine Lotus Feet,

Sri Nimish Pandya, National President, SSSO India
