Sathya Sai School, Nepal

The construction of the school, by the immense grace of Swami, is in progress. It is almost 80-90 % (photos attached) complete. We target to shift the school to this location from the next session starting from April/May. Entire construction is nothing less than a miracle. Right in the beginning of the construction, Swami came in the dream and looking at the drawings said, “This is my school, it will be constructed”. Since then we have not looked back. Even during the twenty-one months lockdown period, the construction did not stop even for a day while almost all the government projects were halted. Lorries carrying our construction materials were allowed movement; one engineer of the same village volunteered to supervise construction as our engineer couldn’t visit the site due to lockdown, etc. Such miracles are numerous. One of the most interesting miracles can be witnessed in the attached brochure. This is indeed a very inspiring read. It appears that except the kitchen for the hostel children, all construction will be complete by May.

Sai School Project in Nepal

In Nepal, a new building for a Sai school and 2 dormitories is currently under construction, giving 185 students in 10 classes a new home. The construction of the new Pokhara School started in March 2018. In April 2022 the move into the new building is planned. The key to the success of all projects in Nepal is the participation of the local population and devotees in the form of seva camps, where young people and other volunteers are encouraged to make their labour available. Medical camps are regularly organised on the construction site to create a “hand to hand” situation with the locals.
